Professional Piano Mover

I don't have a clue why anybody would want to become a Professional Pinao Mover. Even if the pay was great, it just isn't worth it. Dan used to do it i think. It certainly can't be good for your body moving piano's all week long.

But i have noticed that my strength is no longer where it used to be. Used to max 350/360. sigh.

I got to drive someones Dodge truck today. That was pretty sweet. I love the concept of me being in a truck. I just can't get over paying for all the gas. ALthough i was told i could get a good deal on a truck though. As tempting as it is, i'll have to stay with my honda. No car payments is just too nice.

So this week i was supposed to have friday off and come in to work Saturday and Sunday. Well turns out they don't need me on Saturday and Sunday. So thats the good news. The bad news is that i have to work next Sunday.

Tomorow is the Golf outing.

Travels

So as of late i have felt like doing some traveling. The following are the people i really want to see and visit.

1. Tennessee - Mark and Tisha 2
2. Eville - Andy and Amanda .5
Josh .5
3. Jasper - Nick and Jenny 1
4. Sullivan - Matt .5
5. Calhoun - Scott and Trina 2
6. Galesburg - Gma .5
John and Lisa 2
Rich and Rachael and Jill
8. Danville - Bob and Janice 1
9. Chicago - Cindy 1
10. W. Laf. - Eric, Ryan, Matt, Jeremy 2
11. Indy - Alan and Erin .25
Lawana and Isaac .5
Allison .25

So in my predicting this trip, it would take a lot of gas, but well worth the price. I predicted a 13-15 day trip. Which i have enough Vacation/Comp days to cover for my being gone actually. I wouldn't get to spend as much time as would have liked, but still would be nice to see everyone. Getting all of the time approved though would probably be impossible. I wouldn't want to leave the supervisors with me being gone that long. It's brutal.

weight

309.5lbs. It took me a little less than a month but i'm back baby.

shocker

So i found out today that Jessica Zweir(not zweir anymore) is pregnant today. And not only did i find out that, but she is due in like three weeks. Where on earth did the time go.

Secondly i found that an old VU friend Alicia contacted me via the CCF alumni page. SO that was neat.

the KB golf tourney is in two weeks. I'm excited about that. I get friday off this week, but i have to work saturday and sunday 6am-3am. Hopefully i can take my lunch during the DT class at church so i don't get marked for not being there.

Talked to Bob today. I'm sure that was a suprise to him. As of late whenever i want to talk to someone there always away or asleep or at work. Except Matt. Thanks Matt.

Well thats really all i got for now. Sorry.

i don't know

So todays theme was an i don't know kind of thing. At least after this afternoon i was pretty sure what the mood was going to be. But now and since about this morning, i just don't know.

Last night i think it was i had a really good conversation with matt o, about some things. We were quoting bible versus and such. And when i went to go do my devotions last night, The verse was the main topic in My utmost for His Highest book. It was soo cool.

Its so neat to recognize the small fingerprints or messages that God leaves for us on earth for us to know that he is King and lord of Lord's.

night one of my DT (Discipleship Training) went well. Spending about 40 minutes over the first lesson. The question that was asked in the booklet was why is it important to be disciplined. There are so many reasons why we need discipline. It's like my dad always said. In order to have freedom you must have discipline. (Something to that nature.) So that was really cool. Then i went and read a little bit further into 1 Timothy 12 which reminded me of a verse my dad picked out for me while i was groing up. Not to be down on ourselves even though i was so young. God doesn't use people who are able. He uses people who are available.

And that takes me back to a sermon that Scott did at CCF once about Isiaih. Here was God saying Whom shall i Send. And here comes Isiaih shooting and jumping up and down, "Here am i Lord, send me." It's like you the joy you have wanting to be picked first to be on the kickball game at lunch.

Well, time to get back to some sleepage.

Connecting

So today at church was cool. Even though Katie Ditched out on us and got sick on us and didn't show up to sing. All well. Hope your feeling better.

Service was cool. I'm slowly feeling my way with this new band i'm in. Everybody has there special gift, and they are all good at what they do. It's neat seeing the worship leader(electric guitar) and his wife(Dual keyboard) work together. From a worship leaders stand point we can just say go with the feeling. But as a piano player I guess is looking for a little more exact order in things. This way or another. But it's cool to just improve transitions. Doesn't have to be anything exact. Anyways. Jon is awesome on the drums (even though one of his fills messed me up.... i was thinking he was going to fill one way but did another). Zach the bassist just rocks all over on the fret board. Amy (i think) does great with the keyboard and voice. Katie just has a beautiful voice... so much in fact that when she sings the congregation just stops singing to listen to her sing. And Josh the leader has his special thing of lead guitar and leading the congregation. And i get to play along with all of it.

The past two times that i have played others have told me that my accoustic sounded really well out there. Unfortunately, what i hear in the monitor and what is being played out in the house can be two totally different things. So i can only be led to believe that it sounded really good. Hopefully people were able to worship and i wasn't being any type of distraction. But it certainly has been cool playing with the group and re-learning how to blend with others. I just have to work on the confidence in playing by myself.

Today i was asked to be in another bible study. This time with people my own age. Sadly, the biblestudy is during the education session. I have started going through Discipleship Training, and i'm only allowed 2 emergency no show's. So I guess this means i'm not coming to thanksgiving this year in california.... Just kidding. Its only 9 weeks and i think it ends the sunday before thanksgiving.

So after thanksgiving i would beable to visit the my age bible-study. Which i would look forward too attending God willing.

Well i have a long morning to deal with, i better get some rest.

Memories

So i broke out the old yearbooks. I mean oldschool yearbooks. Back in 4th grade even. I did the normal thing everyone did. You pass it around and people sign it. (they usually just signed there name). But there is one name in there i have no clue who she is. The message goes as stated in the yearbook:

Kevin,
To a good looking guy, i'm glad I met,
c-ya,
Angie
Karp

I'm thinking she was the teachers assistant or something. But i really have no recollection of her. How sad is that.

Today i was informed that i had to come in 1.5 hours earlier than i normally do to help a shift for a while... possibly the rest of my 6 month learning this shift. So i will be scheduled 10.5 hours a day. But since it is the end of the day, we usually don't get out until 12:30. So i will be working 11.5 hours a day. I'm not too thrilled.

Choices

so i can't seem to get under that 310 mark anymore. i've been hovering 311 for the past few days.

i forgot to mention that when i went shopping with Dan at the grocery store and bought some granola breadfast cereal, it was the same stuff my dad used to get when i was growing up. I loved that cereal. unvortunately not only does it come in a small box, but it is expensive too.

I'm at a crossroad in my life as to which group i should play in at Church. Both teams want me to be on there team. But in order to be nice to the other supervisor at work i should probably go to the first group (not the group i started in) so that the other supervisor can do some stuff during his lunch. Seeing as how he is being so nice to me.

Tomato Vines

So yesterday i did a little bit of food shopping with the Dan man. He was informing me of the better types of tomatoes to buy vs. the plastic kind. So after smelling the vine of the tomatoes, i began to think back to a time back when we had a garden at the old house, that was guarded by the railroad ties in the back right hand corner.

Yesterday i found out this town had a putt putt place. Go figure. So we did a little putt putting.

And if you have a computer, be sure NOT to post pictures of family members on the desktop. There have been studies done that if you have pictures of loved ones on your desktop, it has been known that bad things happen to them because of the electrical energy pulsing through the picture... which is connected to that loved one. So please don't put picrtures of me on your desktop computer. :)

long week.

Well today is the day that Dan comes. Still don't know what to do, other than go to Chili's and church.

hmmm. Mom's chili sounds good right about now. Even though it's quite humid outside. I really need to get the recipe and make it.

I forgot to mention at the funeral i got to play one of Two Feet Forward's song "Just as I am.mp3"

Well i recieved an email from someone stating that there is an operation manager at Dell in Austin Texas. I think it would be really cool, But i would certainly not be thrilled about 1. having to get on the interstate wherever you go. and 2. The Crazy drivers down there. You thought OHIO drivers where bad. Texans make ohio look like kansas.

In work news. It's pretty busy. Which is a good thing in a way. We have a lot of orders. Unfortunately we are unable to supply the demand as fast as they need. So were working on that.

re-install

Reinstalling takes like a whole day out of my life. First you have to save all of your files. Then you have to uninstall all of your programs. Then reinstall the Operating system.

I'm doing this again because i'm having the same problem as i was before with not having the ability to connect to the internet via my personal computer. I can connect through another computer though. Just not through my router.

So i installed windows xp on the server i bought a while back. having it on for just a couple of minutes.... I may have to hid this thing in the closet and get some really long chords. It's pretty dang loud. But hopefully i'll beable to store some of the stuff on the server so it doesn't bog down my personal computer. I can hope anyways.

This just means that i'll have to by Windows server 2000 in 30 days though. Or i'm out of an Operating system.

My bro in law is coming in to town on saturday so i'm going to have to quick find something to do for the evening. The coffee house might be open. But ya Dan mentioned putt putt. We don't even have a putt putt place. Its only food (which even that is limited) bowling, or the movies. Anybody got any ideas?

Note to Self

Log into ESPN.com before going to church (less traffic) so that it is possible to stay in ESPN.com during all of the football madness. (or my computer is just really slow...

So whats happened lately in my life.

I recently played a whole bunch of guitar.
Sunday/Monday (practice)
Monday 3 hours (give or take i forget actual).
Tuesday - Two songs prior to actual funeral service.
Wednesday - Pband practice. 3.5 hours. played in both teams.
Thursday - played for like 5 seconds with Barry.
Sunday - The Service.

After wednesday i was starting to feel my calusses come back. So thats really neat.

I played whiffle ball today with the church. I smacked the ball really hard all three times. But not once did i ever get on base. I just couldn't drop it in the holes.

And because of whiffle ball, my favorite shorts are now out of commission and have to be retired. How very sad for the pants. Hopefully i can find some somewhere that can match the coolness of those shorts. Sniff Sniff. But hey we won the golden Plunger (trophy for the whiffle ball game).

well anyways since ESPN.com isn't working i'm going to go swimming for a bit. have fun ya'll.

nuttin much.

so when i got back from a full week and a half off my normal diet. I found that i had gained like 17lbs. Oddly though i have lost 7 of it in less than 24 hours. So thats cool.

But I guess that means back to the drawing board for losing weight.

i still have yet to grab the pictures off of my usb stick from this weekend festivities.

Tonight i will actually have the oppurtunity to go to the Church's thursday night service. so that should be thrilling and exciting.

And now for a little picture of my favorite God Child Elizabeth. She is such a cutie pie.

Bob's Request

Don't have much time to type stuff at the moment, but just wanted to make sure i put out this APB to all Femail Stockbrokers. Bob informed me that i have to marry a Stockbroker. So I am in the process of taking applications if anybody is interested.

TV

so something went totally wrong with my TV. The TV will no longer recieve a signal from any of the remotes that i have. SO i guess this means i have to go back to the age of where if i want to turn the TV on i actually have to turn it on at the TV. At least i can still change channels with the digital box!!!

When i was checking in to the hotel on Monday evening the lady recognized my name immediately as Holiday. I just about broke into German with the lady, but figured that would be kind of annoying. Turns out she was from Germany. Sadly i never got to talk to the lady again, she did not work the next two nights :(

but that didn't stop my boyish charm. I apparently made an impression on the hostess at the restaurant at the hotel. She knew me by name and aslways asked me if everything was fine. Sure you think they would do that with anyone. But it doesn't help when everybody around you jokes that she was going to be my new girlfriend. I guess i'll have to wait for the next seminar to see if i can get her number. haha. All well. There's always next year.

Tomorow i leave for Gburg. The weather just got cool enough to the point where i can turn off my air condition. That's so exciting. My mom asked me and my brother in law to play some songs at the funeral. Not too sure how that is going to work out. There will need to be a lot of practicing between then and now.

got guitar?

Okay so i'm in need of an extra guitar for this funeral service. I'm putting out an APB. if anybody has an extra guitar that i can borrow till wednesday, let me know.

My bro in laws CD's came in the mail the other day. So i'll be distrubuting those soon. Let me know if you want one... There already paid for. WHen they come out with there full CD they will be Collector Items. Two Feet Forward

I gained 5 lbs at the seminar. Hopefully i can loose it within the next week. My face is getting thinner. So thats really cool. At least it feels that way. haha.

So i go into work and people start asking me about gas prices (thinking they were still at 260 or something). Only to find out the boosted up to 3.31. Now thats outrageous. i think it's hightime to invest in a Hybrid.

And on top of the gas prices, i had to buy printer cartiges. It cost me like 60 bucks. Stupid printers.
