My Travels

This past weekend i went to go help Nick H move to jasper. In all my travels we seemed to pass a lot of landmarks. Ones that reminded me a lot of the past few years of my life while in college. We ended up on 231 which obviously goes through my hometown, along with travels to Camp Illiana from Purdue. We drove not to far the place from where Audra and Drew got married in Dubios IN. Which also i guess is not far from Paoli where Amanda lives. But during the Dubios wedding i had to go to a walmart and buy granny pants so that drew could pull out granny pants instead of the actual garder(sp). And on the way home we drove a little on 67 which leads to Vincennes, but was also the same road i drove to drive to IU to see Josh and Purdue kill IU in football back in 99. And the Mcdonalds i stopped at after the game was over to call the parents saying i was safe and i made it out of that horrible town called bloomington. But we also somehow got on road 54 which was my football number back in Jr. High, but we somehow ended up driving towards sullivan. Which this would be where Matt C lives. So we had to turn around. I was on that road at like 1 in the morning i think coming home from the Audra and Drew wedding to stay the night with Matt so i didn't have to drive at night alone. (bad contact days.. and possibly post scratch days)

On a much harder note, i got to talking about the job oppurtunity that my friends are getting with this company. After they get through this program, they will be very well off as far as employers wanting them because of there knowledge ontop of their experience. At this point, i feel after a year all i have is an experience. So it's just something to really think about and ponder for a really long time. But hopefully not too long. I probably shouldn't wait 10 years for a 5k sallery raise. But that might obviously be what the world is telling me.

Also the friend i helped move. He has an HDTV. it's huge and only like 80lbs. I really wanted one. but then figured i could probably help some poor starving ministry for 3k vs. spending it on myself. Darn that inner voice. haha. He's so smart.
